If you are a frequent traveler, you will likely find a lightweight, portable projector convenient. There is now a large selection of such projectors in the weight category of up to 3 pounds. If your plans do not include frequent traveling with the projector, you can choose a heavier version, winning, for example, in longer lamp life. In the class of semi-portable projectors at the moment there is a large selection of devices with a weight of 4-6 kg. In practice, such models are more reliable than those weighing less. If you don’t intend to travel with the projector, but want to be able to move the projector around the office, for example from a conference room to a presentation room, or take it to a corporate event, there are many excellent projectors in the 5-8 kg range to consider. Finally, if you are going to use the projector in a specific location and have no need to move it, weight ceases to be an issue and you can make choices ignoring it.

Contrast.

Contrast is the ratio between the brightest and darkest areas of an image. The contrast ratio should be high (400:1 or higher) – the higher it is, the better image you will get. Room light has a significant effect on contrast. If you intend to use your projector in conjunction with lighting, consider projectors with very high contrast ratios.

Picture Format.

An important factor in choosing a projector is the picture format. The most common format is 4:3. It is used in the bulk of computer monitors and is convenient when connecting projectors to computers configured for it. The 16:9 format is also common. It is used in projectors created for home theaters, as it is able to completely cover the format of DVD recording.

Lamp life.

On average, the lamp life of a modern projector is 2000-3000 hours, but there are some projector models that have a lamp life of up to 6000 hours, and in some cases even more. Lamp life is an important factor, as the lamps on mid-range projectors cost $400-600 dollars, which is a significant portion of the cost of an entire projector. The higher the resolution and power of the projector, the shorter the lamp life.

Short-throw lenses.

If you are using your projector as a portable projector, you will likely find a projector with a short focal length lens convenient – this will allow you to place the projector closer to the screen and still get a large picture, which is handy in case of small and non-projector-friendly rooms.

Reverse Projection.

If you want to place the projector so that the screen is between the projector and the audience (this type of projection is called rear projection), it must have a reverse image function (turning from left to right) in order to get the right picture. Most projectors today have this feature, but if you still need it, it’s a good idea to make sure you have it.

Remote mouse

Would you like to control your computer from anywhere in the room? The remote mouse feature allows you to do just that. This feature is available on many modern projectors. You need to connect the projector to your computer via USB (if available).

Audible Noise

All projectors have their own noise level. It is mostly fan noise. The average noise level of modern projectors is 35 decibels, however, some “quiet” projectors produce noise up to 25 decibels.

[/vc_column][/vc_row]

[187

post-5864","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategoriyi-uk
