The Shure SLX24 BETA58 is a wireless portable rack-mount microphone system that provides reliable transmission and high-quality sound for speakers, performers, clergy and teachers. Quick to set up and easy to use, it is suitable for installation in lecture halls, conference rooms, churches, concerts, theaters and many other places.

The SLX24 BETA58 is equipped with a receiver housed in a durable all-metal housing. The receiver’s automatic scan function searches the 24 MHz UHF tuning range with 960 available frequencies, selecting a clear channel without interference even when multiple systems are operating simultaneously.

This configuration features an SLX2 handheld transmitter with variable capsule design, a Beta 58A dynamic capsule with a supercardioid pickup pattern that focuses on speech and helps reduce feedback at loud stages. The handheld transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation from two AA batteries with a fixed output power of 30 mW and a transmission range of up to 100 meters. Up to 12 wireless microphones can work simultaneously in the same space.

Clear, accurate audio with replaceable capsule

The Beta 58A dynamic capsule is designed for vocals with a bright midrange and low-frequency roll-off to control the closeness effect. The capsule has supercardioid polarity, which provides high gain before feedback, maximum isolation from other sound sources, and minimal off-axis tone coloration.
The interchangeable capsule design allows you to replace the Beta 58A with another Shure capsule that is perfect for your current event. It can easily be replaced by such capsules as SM58, SM86, Beta 87C, Beta 87A and others.
