Livesound provides projector and screen rentals for various events. Projectors differ in the following parameters: resolution, brightness of the projected image, focal length, connectors for connecting equipment.

Which projector to rent for your event?

Factors affecting the choice of projector:

  • room lighting;
  • screen size;
  • content to be displayed on the projector;
  • distance from the projector to the screen;
  • connectors for connecting the projector;
  • additional equipment that may be needed.

Room illumination

The lighting in the room is a very important factor when choosing a projector and screen to rent. Any projector works by displaying a picture on a white screen (in direct projection). In this case, the projector cannot display black color, it can only display nothing, implying that in this case the screen will be black. But if the room is bright or sunlight hits the screen, the screen becomes white and the contrast of the projector image drops sharply. So to get a contrasty picture on the screen, the screen area must be darkened or at least the screen must not be exposed to sunlight.

If the room cannot be darkened from sunlight, it is better to use LCD panels, seamless video walls or LED screens.
