Description
The DBX DRIVERACK PA acoustic processor is a representative of the line of inexpensive DBX DriveRack devices intended for installers and rental companies. At a cost that is 3.5 times lower than DriveRack modules of the 400 series, DriveRack PA has fundamentally new capabilities. It’s full hardware functionality – DriveRack PA’s user interface is simple and intuitive, with all controls, including a graphic LCD display and channel input and output level indicators, located on the front panel of the unit. There are 25 factory presets, the parameters of which are designed for JBL loudspeakers and Crown amplifiers, and 25 memory locations for user settings. Expanded and improved functions of processing, analysis and distribution of sound signals. The device provides a 28-band spectrum analyzer combined with a pink noise generator and a 28-band equalizer that is automatically (or manually) adjusted. The device is also equipped with a separate input (XLR) with phantom power for connecting a measurement microphone directly on the front panel.
DriveRack PA uses 24-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, as well as internal processing (dynamic range of more than 110 dB). DriveRack PA input/output configuration – 2 x 6 (XLR connectors). Each input signal can be processed by algorithms of classic dbx compression, 28-band graphic equalization, feedback suppression (12 rejection filters) and subharmonic synthesis (software analogue of the dbx 120A model). Built-in crossovers provide frequency separation in 2 x 3, 2 x 4, 2 x 5 or 2 x 6 channel configurations. Processing of the output channels includes a stereophonic multi-band parametric equalizer and stereophonic limiters working according to the PeakStop™ algorithm.
