In addition to the clean tone, when you trigger the gain control for the Clean channel, you get a rough sound with a bluesy tone. As you’d expect from Marshall, the Overdrive channel has plenty of power, as well as the now-legendary Valvestate-style contour control that lets you scoop out or fill in important midrange tones.

A dedicated DFX unit offers Chorus/Delay, Delay, Chorus, and Fringe effects, plus a digital reverb with its own level control for a natural sound. Add to this our revolutionary FDD function, pedal-switchable channels, effect looping and emulation, as well as line outputs, a CD input that lets you plug in a CD or cassette player and play along with your favorite artist or band, and you have an unparalleled hardware package at a realistic price.
