
Sound equipment rental: how to choose?
To understand the issues of choice, let’s divide acoustic systems by application and consider the important features of each of them.
Sound rental for small events

Local advertising campaign, promotional campaign, presentation or store opening ceremony – all these events involve a speaker or presenter in front of a small audience. If the event is of a business nature, it is not excluded the use of a laptop with the output of presentation slides or clips on the projector.
Such events are usually held indoors:
- conference halls;
- halls;
- negotiation rooms;
- foyer of a store or shopping center;
- and so on.
The area of application of equipment in this case is conditionally limited to 100 square meters.
Based on the initial conditions, the main requirement for equipment for events of this scale is the presence of convenient microphones, compact speakers and a mixing console. The priority goal is speech intelligibility and its amplification.

The use of acoustic equipment at outdoor venues has some peculiarities and technical subtleties. Equipment for outdoor events should be powerful enough to create high acoustic pressure and well transmit low frequencies. Audio equipment should provide sufficient range and strength of distribution of high and low frequencies, as well as intelligibility of speech and music. When equipping large open spaces, choose powerful speakers complete with subwoofers and amplifiers. Subwoofers add depth to the sound and provide a high level of sound pressure, while amplifiers digitally process and amplify the incoming signal.
