Description

With the Sennheiser EW 300 IEM G2 wireless built-in monitoring system (suitable for stage as well as broadcasting on TV, radio and the Internet), musicians, video and sound engineers, journalists / podcasters and others can directly monitor received sound without annoying monitors.

The evolutionary wireless monitoring system ew 300 IEM G2 is a high-quality modern RF transmission system with a high level of operational reliability and ease of use. The excellent reliability of the ew 300 IEM G2 system is based on use

  • advanced optimization of PLL-synthesizer and microprocessor,
  • HDX noise reduction system,
  • noise reduction by “pilot tone” technology,
  • function of scanning free channels.

Sennheiser’s ew 300 IEM G2 system eliminates the need for tangled cables and provides complete freedom of movement. The systems work exclusively in the UHF spectrum. UHF transmission is very reliable and much less prone to interference than the congested VHF band – harmonics from power supplies, fluorescent lamps, refrigerators, computers, etc. practically excluded. Also, indoor UHF radio waves propagate better than VHF, so the power of radio frequency radiation can be kept low – this is also an advantage when using a multi-channel system. UHF frequency ranges are approved worldwide for radio microphone use – license free in some countries.

The Evolution Wireless G2 series features HDX, Sennheiser’s noise cancellation system that reduces RF interference. This increases the signal-to-noise ratio for wireless audio transmission to more than 110 dB. HDX is a wideband compander system that compresses the audio signal in the transmitter by a ratio of 2:1 (relative dB) to raise it above its own noise level. In the receiver, the signal is expanded in an identical and opposite way in a ratio of 1: 2 to restore the original signal, at the same time, the RF noise is reduced below the noise level of the receiver. The HDX has been specially designed for high quality radio microphone systems.

When the transmitter is set to stereo mode, it adds a 19 kHz pilot signal to the audio signal. The receiver checks the incoming audio signals to determine if there is a pilot tone. In the absence of a 19kHz signal, the receiver’s audio signal will remain muted, even if there is a strong radio signal.
This prevents strong interfering signals from causing noise in the receiver when the transmitter is off.

The operation of the ew 300 IEM G2 system is available in five UHF frequency bands with 1440 transmit / receive frequencies per frequency band. The transmitter and receiver have nine frequency banks with the possibility of switching up to 12 channels in each. Also, the transmitter can be installed in a special rec. The Focus Mode function allows you to receive a signal on one channel, and your own voice on the other. The level of each signal is adjustable.
