Each pedal-switchable channel has its own set of sound controllers to meet the demands of maximum versatility. In addition to the clean tone, when you trigger the gain control for the Clean channel, you get a rough sound with a bluesy tone. As you’d expect from Marshall, the Overdrive channel has plenty of power, as well as the now-legendary Valvestate-style contour control that lets you scoop out or fill in important midrange tones.

A dedicated DFX unit offers Chorus/Delay, Delay, Chorus, and Fringe effects, plus a digital reverb with its own level control for a natural sound. Add to that our revolutionary FDD function, pedal-switchable channels, effect loop and emulation, plus line outputs, a CD input that lets you plug in a CD or cassette player and play along with your favorite artist or band, and you have a hardware package that’s second to none at a realistic price.
